Most of the DC fans use high-efficiency permanent magnet drive shafts. After power-on, the fan blades are driven by the principle of electromagnetic effect, which greatly reduces the frictional kinetic energy consumption during the operation of the fan. This also makes the noise emitted by the DC fan very low, the power consumption is only one-third of the traditional AC fan, and the number of air volume adjustment sections is also larger.

There are more and more DC fans on the market, but considering the price and cost, traditional AC fans still have strong competitiveness in the market. As the air volume is stable, the effect of enhancing air convection is better. It is suitable for places with large space and easy to be stuffy, such as kitchen and living room. The number of blades of a traditional AC fan is generally only 3 to 5, and the number of adjustable air volume is not as large as that of a DC fan, most of which have only 2 to 3 knots. Therefore, it is impossible to operate at a low speed, and the cutting noise when the fan blades is started is also very loud. This is the reality that traditional AC fans cannot change.

Compared with the traditional AC fan, the DC fan uses a DC inverter motor, which not only consumes very low power, but also has very low wind cutting sound and motor running sound, which is very suitable for use in a quiet family sleep environment.
